Polar Plunge at Lighthouse Point Park

Every New Years Day the Elm City Parks Conservancy (ECPC) sponsors the Polar Plunge for those hearty souls who are bold enough to jump into the icey water. Plungers collect sponsorship pledges in support of ECPC. In return, they get to soak in hot tubs and eat a huge brunch.
